We were delighted to chosen to design, supply and install the interior planting scheme for Eurogarages fabulous head office at the end of last year. We were approached by the team at their Lancashire HQ to
design a range of bespoke planting for their recently completed interior. The brief was to design and create planting elements with a modern luxury look and feel, incorporating greenery and delicate, subtle colour with a range of textures to compliment the decor scheme of greys, stone and marble. The client also wanted zero maintenance options so we designed an artificial and preserved planting scheme including trees, green walls and trough planters.
We wanted to bring something different to the table so we designed and made a 6ft tall bespoke Magnolia tree with a subtle hint of pink and white. The tree was positioned in the double height entrance giving that wow factor as you walk into the building. The tree was made with natural tree stems and fixed in a contemporary geometric grey concrete planter.
We also made two additional smaller magnolia trees in a slightly different style concrete planter for other areas on the top floor of the building to compliment the large tree downstairs.
Throughout the building the client also wanted to add touches of greenery, and so they chose low level contemporary grey fibrestone trough planters with mixed green artificial plants including ferns and grasses placed at intervals along the modern glass balustrade.
Moving into the kitchen and break out spaces, we added maintenance free artificial green walls to the seating area and one of the kitchen walls. This added both texture and greenery, giving the feel of bringing the outside in.
The artificial green wall was used along the full length of the kitchen wall to add an element of nature to contrast with the sleek modernistic furniture and stylish slatted timber ceiling feature.
The artificial green wall was also used behind the sofa for a relaxing natural feel, where staff can take a break and relax.
Lastly, up in the boardroom the client wanted to add greenery to a large wall at the end of the room, but wanted something different to the green walls used in the break out spaces, so we opted for a large preserved bun moss wall which incorporated the company logo within the wall in a darker shade reindeer moss. Again, creating a natural feel, made with natural preserved moss, yet also maintenance free.
